Personnel Moves Handled Wednesday by Unit 40 Board

The Effingham Unit 40 Board of Education dealt with personnel moves at Wednesday's special meeting.

The Board hired Lana Adams as a cafeteria monitor at South Side School, Renee Kihne as an elementary teacher at the Early Learning Center, Stacey Walk as a Science teacher at the junior high school, Michael McDevitt as a four-hour bus driver, and Kevin Hiatt as a Vocational Technical instructor at the high school.

The Board transferred Allen Birch to a 5.15 hour bus driver position; accepted the retirement of Sheryl Ingram-Conder as a paraprofessional; accepted the resignation of Todd Colesby as a custodian at the high school; and approved a leave of absence for Becky Daugherty under the Family and Medical Leave Act.
