Injury Crash Early Tuesday in Cumberland County

One person was injured in a single-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning in Cumberland County.

The crash happened at 4:20am in the westbound lanes of I-70, six miles east of Montrose.

State police report a pickup truck driven by 37-year-old Morlee Konneh of Dayton, Ohio ran off the roadway into the median after Konneh fell asleep at the wheel. The driver awoke, overcorrected, and crossed over the westbound lanes. The vehicle traveled off the north side of the roadway, traveling down a hill and striking a tree.

A passenger in the vehicle, 31-year-old Loliva Konneh of Dayton, Ohio, was injured and was transported to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Morlee Konneh was cited for improper lane usage.
