Unit 40 Board Acts on Personnel

The Effingham Unit 40 Board of Education acted on personnel matters at a special meeting Tuesday.

The Board approved the hiring of Tina Shipman as a Special Education teacher for the coming school year. Kelsey Hutmacher was appointed the high school Pep Club sponsor.

The Board voted to transfer Angela Strohl to a Science teacher position at the junior high school, and accepted the resignation of Cheryl James as a teacher at the junior high school.
