As HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital nears the home stretch of its Emergency department renovation project, Phase Three will impact the hospital’s ambulance garage. Beginning Monday, May 13 and for approximately five weeks, the ambulance garage will be under renovation. As a result, all ambulances will pick up/drop off patients under the canopy at the Emergency department entrance on Mulberry Street. Patients and visitors are encouraged to use caution as this area will become more congested with pedestrian and ambulance traffic.

St. Anthony’s Emergency department renovation will provide more safety, security and privacy for patients in a more efficient design. Construction of the first phase of the renovation began in February 2018. The final phase is expected to be completed this summer.

As a reminder, patients and their family members coming to the hospital for outpatient testing or surgical procedures should enter the hospital through the Prairie Heart Institute covered entrance off of Maple Street, marked entrance “C”, which is the hospital’s new outpatient entrance. Patients should park in the designated patient parking areas in front of the Prairie Heart entrance or in the lot located on the southeast corner of Maple Street and St. Anthony’s Avenue. Valet parking services are available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
