Miriah Ludtke Finishes Outside the Top 15 in Miss USA Pageant

Former Effingham resident Miriah Ludtke was unsuccessful in her attempt to win the Miss USA Pageant Thursday night in Reno, Nevada, but will continue her duties as Miss Missouri USA throughout the rest of her reign.

Miriah finished outside the Final 15 contestants. Miss North Carolina, Cheslie Kryst, was crowned Miss USA 2019.

Miriah, the daughter of Heather Mumma of Effingham and Joe Ludtke of Springfield, won the Miss Missouri USA title last fall. She lives in St. Louis, and was sponsored in the Missouri competition by the City of St. Louis.
