An Edgewood woman was killed in a crash of two pickup trucks Sunday night in Shelby County.

Shelby County Coroner Brian Green said the woman has been identified as 34-year-old Amy Lynn Fancher. Authorities say Fancher was a passenger in one of the pickup trucks involved in the crash, which was reported at 7:46pm Sunday. The crash happened in a rural area, southwest of Tower Hill.

Fancher was riding in a unit driven by 34-year-old Mathew Logsdon of Beecher City. Logsdon has been cited for DUI and failure to yield. The other driver was a 20-year-old Pana Man. His name is not yet available.

Illinois State Police report Logsdon was traveling eastbound while the Pana man was headed northbound. Police say Logsdon failed to yield the right of way and the pickup driven by the Pana man struck Logsdon's pickup in the passenger side.
