Fayette County Authorities Investigating Two Different In-Home Death Scenes

Fayette County authorities are investigating two different in-home death scenes found Thursday.

 

Fayette County Coroner Dave Harris said 53-year-old Jess Vincent was found in his rural Beecher City home and was pronounced dead by Harris at 12:05am. (NOTE: THE CORONER'S INFORMATION ORIGINALLY HAD THIS INDIVIDUAL IDENTIFIED BY A DIFFERENT NAME)

An autopsy was performed later Thursday at HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham. Results are pending.

Later Thursday, Harris pronounced 43-year-old Curtis Schwarm of North Kennedy in Vandalia dead at 5:40pm. An autopsy on Schwarm is being performed today at St. Anthony's.

Schwarm's death is still being investigated by the Vandalia Police Department and the Fayette County Coroner's Office.
