The Effingham Performance Center will host a free concert featuring the United States Air Force Band of Mid-America at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 3.

The Air Force Band features a diverse, 45-piece ensemble that will perform a repertoire ranging from symphonic band masterworks, to traditional marches, to modern compositions, to pop and jazz.

“The US Air Force Band represents the professionalism and excellence found every day throughout the Air Force,” said Rich Jorn, artistic director at the theater. “This concert gives our patrons the opportunity to experience first-class entertainment and to support these men and women who serve our country.”

The USAF Band will perform familiar works, including sounds of John Philip Sousa and Major Glenn Miller, along with a wide variety of popular, classical and patriotic selections.

Although the show is free, those attending must have a ticket. Tickets can be picked up at the EPC Box Office or secured online at www.theepc.org.
