Windsor school board members finalized summer building projects at this month's meeting.

Projects will include replacing exterior doors at the grade school building; replacing exterior lights at the grade school building and at the bus barn; bathroom renovation at the high school building; boring under the parking lot to carry storm water away from the buildings; and resurfacing the parking lot.

The Windsor board approved next school year's calendar with the first day for students set for August 19; approved a six-year agreement with Go Math for curriculum for Grades K-8; and moved the April board meeting to the 24th.

Board members approved renewing the athletic co-op with the Stew-Stras district through the 2020-2021 school year; approved the junior high co-op with Stew-Stras through 2020-2021 for baseball, softball and girls basketball; and renewed membership in the IHSA and IESA for next school year.

The Windsor board rehired elementary principal Brian Lee for another year; rehired school psychologist and academic advisor Becky Fogarty; approved Bailey McQueen as a part-time family consumer science teacher; and approved Don Crawford to chaperone the senior class trip. The Board approved an honorable dismissal of one-on-one aide Kyle Workman due to uncertainties over enrollment.
