Neoga school board members continue to keep an eye on the bottom line, but also continue retaining or restoring optional programs as funding is available.

The Board voted at the January meeting to approve a District Art program for the 2019-2020 school year, and also approved a donation of $18,000 to the Neoga High School Musical program from the Neoga Theater Arts Fund.

Superintendent Ben Johnson reported that the balances in all funds continue to be stable, with the exception of transportation. As is the case with many other districts, Johnson said the Neoga district has received no transportation payments from the State for the fiscal year.

The Board approved a maternity leave for Jamie Martin.
