Two Crashes w/Injuries in Effingham

Effingham city police have released information on two crashes resulting in injuries in recent days.

One crash occurred just after midnight on January 24 at Keller Drive and Avenue of Mid-America. Police say a vehicle driven by 29-year-old Brandon Beccue of Edgewood rear-ended a vehicle driven by 58-year-old Rhonda Myers of Ramsey.

Myers was injured, but refused treatment. There were no citations issued.

Another crash happened at 8:51 Sunday morning at Keller Drive and Ford Avenue.

City police say vehicles driven by 47-year-old Sherry Wright of Beecher City and 51-year-old Andrea Baker of Neoga collided. 

Wright was injured, but refused treatment. Wright was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
