Two Injured in Two Car Cumberland County Crash

 At 11:16 Saturday morning a vehicle driven by a 17 year old female from Neoga was stopped at the stop sign on County road 200E in Cumberland county waiting to continue north. 

A car driven by Helen Scott, 66 of Toledo, was westbound on Center Line Road two miles southeast of Neoga. The juvenille pulled out into the path of the Scott vehicle.  Scott attempted to swerve to the right to avoid the accident but struck the girls car in the front passenger side of the vehicle.  

The youth's car was pushed into the ditch on the north side of Center Line road and came to rest. Scott's vehicle continued to travel through a field on the north side of Center Line road and came to rest facing eastbound several feet west of the intersection.  

The 17 year old was taken to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital by Neoga Ambulance while Scott was transported to Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospital by Neoga ambulance for treatment of her injuries.

The 17 year old was charged with Failure to Yield at an Intersection.
