Miss Winnebago County is 2019 Illinois County Fair Queen

19-year-old Alexi Bladel of Rockford has been crowned 2019 Miss Illinois County Fair Queen.

Alexi was crowned Sunday evening at the 109th Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs Convention in Springfield. Alexi, the 60th Miss Illinois County Fair queen, is attending Rock Valley College to obtain an Associate's Degree in Fire Science and become a firefighter.

Jamie Franck of Henry County was named first runner-up, Teaghan Callaway of Lake County was named second runner-up, Grace Mongan of Ogle County was named third runner-up, and Addison Osman of Union County was named fourth runner-up.

Olivia Telgmann of Shelby County was one of the Top 15 finalists in this year's competition.

Samantha Trout of Richland County was given the Best in Stage Presence award.

All reports indicate Miss Effingham County Fair Queen Serena Strullmyer competed well.

In the Talent Show compeition, the Jazz Dance group from Richland County finished second in the Junior Division. Effingham County Fair Senior Division winners Madison Fear and Faith Whitley and Junior Division winner Brooklyn Schimmelpfenning were among the competitors.
