(SOME POTENTIAL VOLUNTEERS SPEAK WITH AGENCY REPRESENTATIVES AT THE VOLUNTEER FAIR)

Effingham County’s Impact 2030 Creative Learning Culture and Strong Community hosted a volunteer fair at the Suzette Brumleve Memorial Effingham Public Library. The Thursday event, "Give of Yourself in Effingham County Volunteer Fair Fall 2018", was free and was sponsored by the Suzette Brumleve Memorial Effingham Public Library, Matt Beck Edward Jones, and the Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation. Boxed lunches were provided to those who pre-registered.

The volunteer fair provided the opportunity to connect local Effingham County nonprofits and organizations with potential volunteers. Organizations attended the event promote their efforts and find eager citizens to fill their volunteer needs. Volunteers had a one-stop-shop to meet participating organizations and find volunteer opportunities aligned with their passions and skills. 17 organizations were represented.
