Impact 2030 Creative Learning Culture and Strong Community will be hosting a volunteer fair at the Suzette Brumleve Memorial Effingham Public Library on Thursday, November 29 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The hope is that this is perfect timing with the holidays ushering in the spirit of giving:

Give of Yourself in Effingham County Volunteer Fair Fall 2018 is free and is sponsored by the Suzette Brumleve Memorial Effingham Public Library, Matt Beck Edward Jones, and the Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation. Box lunches will be provided for those who pre-register. After that, they will have a limited number available on a first come-first served basis. Organizers ask that you pre-register at https://goo.gl/forms/RP0aYLQDNl0VrYsj1 no later than Wednesday, November 21. Please note that space in the fair is limited and organizations will be featured on a first come, first served registration basis.

The volunteer fair gives the opportunity to get connected with local Effingham County nonprofits and organizations. Organizations attend the event promote their efforts and find eager citizens to fill their volunteer needs. Check out the event to meet participating organizations, network with Effingham County nonprofits, and find volunteer opportunities with causes you are passionate about.

Organizers feel much may be gained by building relationships among people in the community who wish to make a difference working together. Effingham County’s Creative Learning Culture embraces lifelong learning for all citizens, cultivates creativity and innovation, and celebrates personal growth.
