Truck Centers, Inc. Holds Grand Opening

Truck Centers, Inc. Wednesday celebrated the grand opening of their 10th full-service dealership in Effingham. The 47 year-old, family-owned company represents Freightliner and Western Star trucks at their 10 dealerships and three auxiliary facilities located in Illinois, Indiana and Missouri. Their newest location is strategically poised on 12 acres along the I-57/I-70 corridor to assist local and interstate customers with enhanced parts and service support.

The 32,600 square foot facility houses sales, parts and service departments as well as premier customer amenities including a plush customer lounge with Wi-Fi, satellite TV, laundry and shower facilities, refreshments and free local shuttle service. Fourteen technicians, including 9 DTNA G2 certified techs, work in 15 state-of-the-art service bays performing certified warranty repairs, maintenance, service work and mobile service repairs on all brands of commercial and large recreational vehicles. Over 10,000 square foot of warehouse space is stocked with critical parts to expedite repairs and maximize customers’ uptime. The facility also receives daily parts delivers from the network’s primary warehouse in Troy, Ill., and they provide multiple parts deliveries to over 60 area customers each and every day for value-added customer service.

The Effingham location officially opened for business in April and has already served over 2,250 customers in their first 60 days of business and created 35 new jobs within the local community. The dealership is currently open Monday-Friday7AM-12AM and 7AM-3:30PM on Saturday with future plans to offer extended weekend parts and service hours.
