Local Observance of National Day of Prayer Set for May 3

The local observance of the 2017 National Day of Prayer will take place on Wednesday, May 3.

The event will be held at the Thelma Keller Convention Center in Effingham from 7:30-9:00am. Nationally-known broadcaster Kurt Becker of Altamont will be the guest speaker, with music led by Tony Munoz and Greg Sapp.

Tickets for the breakfast meeting are free, but you do need a ticket to attend. Tickets are available at the Tom Henderson State Farm Insurance Agency at 3rd and Section, at the Convention Center, and at the studios of 979XFM and KJ Country 102.3 at Fayette and Willow.

A love offering will be taken during the event with proceeds going to The Cross Foundation of Effingham.
