Heart of the Hops Weekend in Effingham

This weekend marks the debut of a new downtown Effingham festival.

"Heart of the Hops" will feature over 15 craft beers to sample, food from The Dog, Summer Kitchen, Dad's Smokin' Butt BBQ and Joe's Pizza and Pasta, along with live music. Friday night performers will be the Keith Meyer Quartet and the Matt Poss Band.

The festival hours are 4-10pm Friday and 11am-3pm Saturday. All proceeds will go to the Andrew Gobczynski Big Heart Foundation.

After the festival ends on Saturday, there will be a Heart of the Hops Post Party with live music from Flood and Flight Fifty from 5-10pm.
