How to Watch Avery Compete

Many people are wondering how to watch Effingham's Avery Braunecker compete in the 50-meter freestyle at the US Olympic Swimming and Diving Trials in Omaha today.

Avery's mom and coach, Elizabeth, said the preliminary swims are only shown via webcast. Go to USA swimming. Click on Olympic trials. Click on TV/Webcast. Click watch live. 

All times listed are Eastern time, one hour ahead of Effingham time.

Elizabeth reminds that Avery will swim very close to 10:00 this morning as the 50 free does not take very long.

The semifinals can then be seen starting about 4:00 today and those can be viewed on NBCSN. That network is available at Channel 265 on Mediacom, Channel 220 on DirecTV, and on Channel 159 on Dish.

The finals of the 50 will take place on Sunday on NBC.
