A status hearing in the Coles County case of Nicholas Jackson has been continued another month.

The 24-year-old Toledo resident is charged with home invasion and armed robbery. Jackson is charged with entering a home in Mattoon in March and tying up the family members inside the residence, and is charged with holding up Casey's General Store in Mattoon in August. He's next due in court on December 8.

Jackson and co-defendant 21-year-old Zachary Sapp of Toledo were being evaluated by CEAD Council staff members following their arrests in August. Sapp is next due in court for a status hearing on November 17.

Jackson is also charged in Effingham County with armed robbery for the holdup of Econolodge on West Fayette in Effingham, also in August. He is due in court on that count in Effingham on Thursday.
