Burn Ban LIfted For Effingham County Fire Departments

Effective immediately, the following Effingham County Fire Officials have lifted the Burn Bans in their respective jurisdictions. These Fire Departments/Districts include:

Altamont Fire Protection District

Beecher City Tri-County Fire Protection District

Edgewood Bi-County Fire Protection District

Effingham Fire Department

Montrose Fire Protection District

Sigel Fire Protection District

Teutopolis Fire Protection District

Watson Fire Protection District

Fire officials request the public abides by their local Burn Ordinances and to use caution when burning. Avoid burning on windy days, have a water source nearby and never leave your fire unattended.
