Teutopolis village board members have agreed to install a culvert for the Teutopolis Knights of Columbus Council.

The village's practice is to install culverts if those desiring them purchase the culverts. Board members agreed to install a culvert along Vine Street near the Knights of Columbus Hall. One benefit was that it will allow access to the field by the Hall where the K of C hosts tractor pulls.

The Board also approved some additional concrete work at three locations where sidewalk replacement was approved last meeting. The work is being done along West Main Street in front of Siemer Milling Company's new office building, in front of the Siemer Heritage House, and in front of Fuesting's Garage.

The Board also passed the appropriations ordinance for the new fiscal year, setting limits on what can be spent from a fund, not necessarily what will be spent.
