Teutopolis village board members have approved the rezoning of property at 111 North Plum.

The former Scissor Wizard facility was rezoned from industrial to general commercial, a move that allows an addition to the building.  Melissa Belford has opened Swagger Salon and Spa in the building.

The Teutopolis board contracted with Mark Kenter CPA to conduct the village's fiscal year end audit; and appropriated $58,000 in Motor Fuel Tax funds for the maintenance of streets.

Board members approved 3% pay increases for all village employees as of May 1, hired Nick Ruholl as a summer worker to join four people hired earlier, and awarded a bid to C and D Fencing for a six-foot-high fence around the maintenance shop on Green Street for $4,400.
