Get ready for a colorfully awesome time at the Surviving the Color 5k<\/strong> in Effingham on Saturday, September 12!<\/p>\n

This run benefits the Team of Mercy – Newton branch<\/strong> that offers assistance to those left behind after an attempted or completed suicide.\u00a0 This is the 5th Surviving the Color event that raises funds and awareness to help those in need in Jasper and surrounding counties.<\/p>\n

The race\/walk on the TREC Trail will start at the EPC, located at 1325 Outer Belt West in Effingham.<\/p>\n

Race Day Schedule:<\/p>\n

7:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. – Packet Pickup and Race Day Registration
\n8:45 a.m. – Pre-Race Ceremony
\n9:00 a.m. – Race Starts!
\n10:30 a.m. – Course Closes
\n11:00 a.m. – Closing Ceremony<\/p>\n

All Participants will receive 8 total color stations where you will be drenched in color, and post-race refreshments!<\/p>\n

Children age 8 & under can participate with a registered parent \/ guardian for free.\u00a0 However they will not receive race materials.\u00a0 You must be registered in order to receive any race materials.<\/p>\n
