Danny owned and operated the Lake Sara Campground and the Lake Sara Beach for many<br \/>\nyears. He loved his patrons and loved the outdoors. He had a love for his dogs that matched no other. He never met a stranger and we will miss his sense of humor and his laughter.<\/p>\n<p>Danny is survived by his siblings, David (Sharon) Hankins of Eva, TN, Doug Hankins of Shumway, Linda Niebrugge of Lake Sara, and Dwane Hankins of Ocala, FL; and many nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n<p>He was preceded in death by his parents.<\/p>\n<p>Services will be held at a later date. Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham is assisting the family.
