Saige Althoff nailed two free throws, a three-pointer and a two-pointer for seven in the quarter. Bria Beals added a three-pointer and Averie Wolf had two free throws.<\/p>\n<p>The two teams played to an 11-11 third quarter before the Hearts finished strong with a 13-8 final period.<\/p>\n<p>Three players hit double figures for EHS. Althoff lead with 11 on three field goals, one a three-pointer, and four of four at the line. Martin and Donaldson added 10 each.<\/p>\n<p>In the junior varsity contest, Taylorville edged the Hearts, 59-57 in overtime.<\/p>\n<p>EHS had four players finish in double figures. In the second quarter it was Allie Ruholl who took over the scoring duties with two regular baskets and two three-pointers for 10 as the Shoes held a 35-29 halftime lead.<\/p>\n<p>But, the Rams started a comeback with a 23-16 third quarter to pull ahead 52-51. Melaina Zedalis led the way for the Tornadoes with 10 points while Kamaree Pollard added six.<\/p>\n<p>In the final period, Zedalis continued on with 10 more points and the Rams had a 17-13 edge for the victory.<\/p>\n<p>T-town had four players in double digits. C. Probst led thew way with 21 on seven field goals, three of those trifectas and four of six at the line. A. Ruholl added 17, Kelsey Niemerg 12 and A. Probst 10.<\/p>\n<p>C. Probst led in rebounds with six and had a steal. K Niemerg and Allie Ruholl added a steal each. A. Ruholl and M. But Oblong came back with a 13-9 second quarter run to tie the sore at 29-29 at halftime.<\/p>\n<p>Dieterich had a 13-10 third period to pull ahead 42-39. But, here came Oblong. In the final quarter, Oblong had a 14-8 run on two baskets by Destinee Ramsey and five players scored from the free throw line.<\/p>\n<p>Genna Kidwell led the winners with 22 points while Alyssa Tipton added 12 and Maggie Bailey 10.<\/p>\n<p>Dieterich was led by Kady Tegeler and Callie Faller with 12 points each. Tegeler hit six field goals while Faller hit five and was two of two at the line.<\/p>\n<p>In the junior varsity contest, Dieterich was a 53-26 winner.
