MOUNT ZION — Effingham Junior High School competed in the Mount Zion Junior High Track Invitational Saturday but only finished a few events before the meet was canceled due to rain.<\/p>\n

Effingham’s eighth-grader Abigail Johnson broke her own 1600 school record with a time of 5:14.81.<\/p>\n
