A Memorial Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to service time also at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup. Burial will be at a later date in the Harmony Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p>John was born on January 8, 1957, in Mattoon, Illinois to George Jr. and Faye (Kemper) Lewis.<\/p>\n<p>John is survived by his daughters Jodi (Tim McCoy) Workman and Katie (Trevor Tarr) Lewis; brother Jim (Connie) Lewis; brother-in-law Harold Cox; sisters Peggy (Dave) Reese and Mary (Scott) Jewel; grandchildren Nash (Alisha VanTassel) Workman and Shea Workman.<\/p>\n<p>John was preceded in death by his parents, brother Max Lewis; sisters Diane Duvall, Jane Maxwell Everett, and Yvonne Cox; and grandson Seith Paul.<\/p>\n<p>John owned and operated his own construction business \u201cLewis Construction\u201d for many years. John was also a member of the Cumberland County Sportsman Club.<\/p>\n<p>In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Cumberland County Sportsman Club.
