Visitation will be held for one hour prior to service time at the church. Memorials may be made to the donor\u2019s choice. Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont is assisting the family.<\/p>\n<p>Percy was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Leon &#8220;Sonny&#8221; Followell and Winnie Emma Followell, and his brother, Terry Wayne Followell.<\/p>\n<p>Born on February 25, 1959, Percy was a gifted master craftsman who found joy and purpose working with his hands \u2014 building fine furniture and restoring old homes. His work revealed the natural beauty of the materials he touched, leaving behind not just craftsmanship, but a legacy of care, dedication, and love for his art.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by his beloved partner, Debra Followell; and his children, Christopher Followell, Shaylyn Thompson, Brandon (Amy) Followell, and Brett (Hannah) Followell, and six cherished grandchildren; her children, Jeremy, David (Sarah) and Thomas (Allison), and their families. He is also survived by his sisters, Marie (Jack) Stortzum, Helen Followell, Trudy (Robert) Butcher, and Tammy Jo (Buddy) Boyt, along with many extended family members and dear friends.<\/p>\n<p>Percy\u2019s life was marked by hard work, generosity, and a deep appreciation for the simple and beautiful things in life.
