Effingham St. Anthony blanked Dieterich, 14-0 in a high school baseball contest heard on KJ Country 102.3 Monday.<\/p>\n

The Bulldogs stepped out to a 4-0 lead. Will Fearday led off with a single and then proceeded to steal second. Brady Hatton doubled home W. Fearday. Brock Fearday then singled. Aiden Lauritzen hit a sacrifice fly and Hatton scored. Henry Brent singled. Sam Link drew a walk and Charley Spour hit a double, scoring a run. The Bulldogs batted around in the inning.<\/p>\n

St. Anthony added on two more runs in the second as B. Fearday hit a solo homer. Lauritzen drew a walk and Brant and Link followed with back-to-back singles. Link got the RBI.<\/p>\n

In the third, St. Anthony moved its lead to 8-0. Vincent Vogel drew a walk and was singled home by W. Fearday. B. Fearday then sacrificed W. Fearday home for an RBI.<\/p>\n

St. Anthony then tallied six more runs in the fourth. Brent led off the frame with a single and would come back to bat a second time in the inning, hitting a sacrifice for an RBI.\u00a0 Link singled and Spour singled home a run as did Alex Mayer. Vogel drew a second walk of the game. W. Fearday followed with a walk that scored an RBI and Hatton singled home two runs.<\/p>\n

St. Anthony banged out 14 hits. B. Fearday led the way with a single, home run and two RBI while Spour added a single, double and two RBI and Hatton had a single, double and three RBI. Brent contributed three singles and an RBI, W. Fearday two singles and two RBI, Link two singles and an RBI and Mayer a single and an RBI. Aiden Lauritzen also added an RBI.<\/p>\n

Lauritzen went 3.1 innings for the mound win. He gave up one hit, three walks and struck out four. Mayer came on to go the final 1.2 innings, allowing one hit and striking out four.<\/p>\n

Dieterich was led by Bryce Bohnhoff with two singles.<\/p>\n

At Farina<\/strong><\/p>\n

Teutopolis High School struck early with three runs in the first and went on to hand South Central a 12-2 high school baseball loss Monday in five innings.<\/p>\n

The Wooden Shoes held a 4-0 lead after two. South Central tallied two in the third but T-town came right back with two in the top of the fourth and ended the game with a six-run fifth.<\/p>\n

Greg Addis tossed a three-hitter with three walks while striking out eight.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile the Shoes tallied 13 hits, four extra base hits. Michael Niebrugge had a single, home run and drove in five runs. Davin Worman added a solo homer. Jason Kreke had a single, double and an RBI, Dawson Hoene a double and an RBI, Carter Hoene two singles and two RBI, Henry Thompson two singles and an RBI and Austin Borries a single and an RBI.<\/p>\n

South Central’s Callaway Smith had a solo home run and Chase Guerrettaz a single and an RBI. Maddox Robb had the other hit, a single.<\/p>\n

The Wooden Shoes improved to 18-2 on the season while South Central dropped to 7-8.<\/p>\n

T-town, weather permitting, is supposed to host Newton today. South Central hosts Effingham Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Altamont didn’t score until the final two innings to pull out a 4-1 victory over Nokomis Monday.<\/p>\n

Nokomis held a 1-0 lead through five innings before Altamont struck with two in the sixth to move ahead and tacked on two more in the seventh.<\/p>\n

Carson Milleville came on in relief and went 4.2 innings, giving up one run on six hits, one walk and striking out two.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Indians finished with six hits, all singles by Cooper McManaway with two RBI, Kade Milleville, Keegan Schultz, Parker Bell, Blake Berg and Will Reardon.<\/p>\n

Drake Wolf led the way in the hitting department for the Eagles with three singles and an RBI. David Baltzell added a double and two RBI. Carter Barthelme added a single and two RBI while Kohlten Barthelme finished with a single and an RBI.<\/p>\n

C. Barthelme went all seven innings, allowing two runs on seven hits. He did not give up a walk and struck out three.<\/p>\n

Marshall was led by Reed Ramey with two singles and an RBI and Ben Harper with two singles.<\/p>\n

CHBC had a 20-hit attack. Conner Nowitzke had a double, triple and drove in four runs while Wyatt Rueff added a single, two home runs and five RBI. Hunter Pope added two singles, a double and three RBI while AJ Radloff had three singles and Blake Mueller two singles and an RBI.<\/p>\n

Kaidyn Calame, Eli McDowell, Clive Schlanser, Daithyn Arnold, Connor Vaughn and Max Dye had a single and an RBI each.<\/p>\n

Cumberland had six hits led by Isaac Venatta with a single and double and Grady Jones with a double and two RBI.<\/p>\n

Montgomery went the distance on the mound for Okaw Valley and tossed a six-hitter with one walk while striking out 10.<\/p>\n
