SULLIVAN — Sullivan High School won its own Tri-County Track Invitational for the boys while Arthur-Lovington\/Atwood-Hammond and Shelbyville were co-champions for the girls.<\/p>\n

Sullivan won with 119 points followed by Shelbyville 103, Arthur-Lovington\/Atwood-Hammond 74, Pana 73, Moweaqua Central A&M 57, Cowden-Herrick\/Beecher City 48, Neoga 27, Villa Grove 25, Arcola 17 and Bethany Okaw Valley 14.<\/p>\n

Cowden-Herrick\/Beecher City’s August Cosart was a winner in the 3200 with a time of 10:37.23 minutes while teammate Griffin Vaughn was second in 10:43.34. Cosart finished second in the 1600 in 4:45.26.<\/p>\n

CHBC’s Hayden Sarver finished second in the long jump at 5.65 meters. Clive Schlanser took third in the 200 in 24.85 seconds.<\/p>\n

The Neoga 4×800 relay team grabbed a second place spot in 8:38.07 minutes. Team members were Lucas Keller, Tate Christner, Kaden Bryant and Brett Matusus.<\/p>\n

In the girls meet, Arthur-Lovington\/Atwood-Hamond and Shelbyville were co-champions with 117 points followed by Sullivan 77, Bethany Okaw Valley 58, Moweaqua Central A&M 43, Pana 34, Cowden-Herrick\/Beecher City 28, Arcola 27, Neoga 20, Villa Grove 20 and Stewardson-Strasburg 8<\/p>\n

Stewardson-Strasburg’s Ava Harris finished second in the 100 hurdles in 18.98 seconds.<\/p>\n

Neoga’s Molly Moran was third in the 300 hurdles in 53.73.<\/p>\n

Cowden-Herrick\/Beecher City’s Kyleigh Wallace finished third in the shot with a heave of 10.02 meters and was third in the discus at 33.11.<\/p>\n
