Athletes are nominated by head coaches based upon the following criteria:<br \/>\nStats, Accomplishments,\u00a0 Character, Coachability, Leadership and Sportsmanship<\/p>\n<p>Nominations are then sent out to all high coaches to vote on a winner. There is one male and one female winner each month. Winners receive a Treign Athlete of the Month shirt and get recognition via announcements and local media.<\/p>\n<p>November 2024 Winners:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/EHS-ALYSSA-MARTIN-640.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Alyssa Martin, Jr. &#8211; Basketball<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Alyssa has led us to a 5-0 start and the championship of the Newton Holiday Tournament, where she was named to the all-tournament team.\u00a0 She is averaging 12.5 points a game and 5 rebounds.\u00a0 Alyssa is a dream to coach.\u00a0 Her intensity that she plays with is unmatched.\u00a0 \u00a0She is also very coachable and always trying to improve her game.\u00a0 She is also awesome in the classroom.&#8221;\u00a0 &#8212; Coach Jeff Schafer<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/EHS-KAIDEN-STEWART-640.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Kaiden Stewart, Sr. \u2013 Wrestling<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Kaiden is team captain this year and is 3-1 so far .
