TOLEDO — Effingham St. Anthony came out the team champion in the Cumberland High School girls track meet Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The Bulldogs scored 160 points followed by Casey-Westfield 94, Cumberland 87.5, Marshall 85, Stewardson-Strasburg 46, Bethany Okaw Valley 23.5 and Oblong\/Palestine\/Hutsonville 15.<\/p>\n

Reese Hoene was a four event winner for the Bulldogs. She claimed the 100 in 13.81 seconds and the 200 in 27.37. She also crossed the finish line first in the 400 in 1:01. Hoene won the long jump at 4.95 meters. Liv Hoene was second in the 200 in 28.72.<\/p>\n

St. Anthony took second in the 4×200 relay in 2:01.64 minutes. Team members were Sophia Emmerich, Scheidemantel, Cara Hatton and Audrey LaSarge.<\/p>\n

Aubrey Denning went 2:21.00 in the 800 to win and was second in the 1600 in 5:18.34. Liv Hoene captured the 300 hurdles in 50.47 seconds.<\/p>\n

The Bulldogs went one-two in the shot as Madilyn Haarmann won with a toss of 9.12 meters and Callie Emmerich took second at 8.96.<\/p>\n

They also went one-two in the discus. Emmerich was a winner with a throw of 26.30 meters while Madilyn Haarmann placed second at 26.21<\/p>\n

Another Bulldogs one-two finish was in the high jump. Mary Scheidemantel won at 1.47 meters while Cara Hatton took second at 1.42.<\/p>\n

Cumberland’s Hannah Shoemaker finished second in the 100 hurdles in 18.13 seconds.<\/p>\n

The Pirates won the 4×100 relay in 56.21 seconds. Team members were Brielle Aaron, Cameron Robbins, Kaelin Edwards and Alyssa Dittamore. They also claimed the 4×200 relay win in 1:59.81 minutes. Team members were Aaron, Layla Holsapple, Edwards and Dittamore.<\/p>\n

In the boys meet, Casey-Westfield won with 144 points followed by St. Anthony 124, Cumberland 103, Oblong\/Palestine\/Hutsonville 49, Stewardson-Strasburg 34, Bethany Okaw Valley 28 and Marshall 27.<\/p>\n

St. Anthony’s Calvin Sudkamp was a two event winner. He claimed the high jump at 1.82 meters and won the triple jump at 11.52 meters.<\/p>\n

Stewardson-Strasburg’s Colby McCormick was second\u00a0 in the long jump at 4.18. McCormick finished second in the triple jump at 8.70 meters.<\/p>\n

St. Anthony’s Connor Croy won the 200 with a time of 24.96 seconds while teammate Noah Flaig took second at 25-72. Flaig finished second in the 800 in 2:14.32 minutes.<\/p>\n

The Bulldogs’ Camden Bloemer won the 1600 in 5:02.52 minutes while Cumberland’s Aydan Oakley was second in 5:07.12.<\/p>\n

Eli Hiatt won the 110 hurdles in 18.86 seconds for St. Anthony and finished second in the 300 hurdles in 43.59.<\/p>\n

Cumberland’s 4×100 relay team won in 45.58 seconds. Team members were Cael McMechan, Reid Carlen, Logan Gerhardt and Kaleb Bierman. The Pirates finished second in the 4×400 relay in 3:44.00 minutes. Team members were Bierman, Carlen, Gerhardt and Riley Morgan. The Pirates also took first in the 4×800 relay in 9:01.50 minutes. Team members were Gavin Whitaker, Cameron Roedl, Aydan Oakley and Riley Morgan.<\/p>\n

Brady Wallin was a winner for Stewardson-Strasburg. He claimed the long jump at 5.15 meters.<\/p>\n
