ARTHUR — Cowden-Herrick\/Beecher City, Cumberland and Neoga competed in the Arthur-Lovington\/Atwood-Hammond Track Invitational Saturday.<\/p>\n

Tuscola won the boys meet with 144 points followed by Arthur-Lovington-Atwood\/Hammond 92, Sullivan 66, Casey-Westfield 59, Cumberland 56, Moweaqua Central A&M 38 Villa Grove 38, Decatur St. Teresa 36, Cerro Gordo\/Bement 26, Niantic\u00a0 Sangamon Valley 23,\u00a0 Argenta-Oreana 20, Neoga 19, Cowden-Herrick\/Beecher City 15, Marshall 14, Arcola 9, Warrensburg-Latham 7 and Macon Meridian 1.<\/p>\n

Cumberland’s Reid Carlen finished second in the 100 in 11.35 seconds. Cameron Roedl took second in the 800 in 2:07.90 minutes while Riley Morgan was third in 2:08.37.<\/p>\n

The Pirates’ 4×100 relay team finished third in 45.40 seconds. Team members were Cael McMechan, Carlen, Logan Gerhardt and Kaleb Bierman.<\/p>\n

Cumberland’s Landon Finn finished third in the long jump at 5.96 meters.<\/p>\n

Cowden-Herrick\/Beecher City’s August Cosart took third in the 1600 in 4:42.12.<\/p>\n

Neoga’s 4×800 relay team finished second in 8:47.29 minutes. Team members were Lucas Keller, Kaden Bryant, Tate Christner and Brett Matusus.<\/p>\n

Brayden Ray finished second for Neoga in the high jump at 1.72 meters.<\/p>\n

In the girls meet, Tuscola won with 122 points followed by Arthur-Lovington\/Atwood-Hammond 118, Sullivan 61, Marshall 58, Warrensburg-Latham 57, Casey-Westfield 52, Cowden-Herrick\/Beecher City\u00a0 30,\u00a0 25, Cumberland 25, Decatur St. Teresa 23, Arcola 22, Villa Grove 17, Hume Shiloh 16, Niantic Sangamon Valley 15, Macon Meridian 59, Cerro Gordo-Bement 9 and Neoga 3.<\/p>\n

Cumberland’s Hannah Shoemaker took second in the 100 hurdles in 17.65 seconds and was third in the 300 hurdles in 53.95 seconds.<\/p>\n

Cowden-Herrick\/Beecher City’s Zoe Sarver finished third in the 100 in 13.66 seconds. CHBC’s Ellie Miller took third in the triple jump at 9.65 meters.<\/p>\n
