CHARLESTON — Charleston won both the boys and girls track meets over Cumberland Thursday.<\/p>\n

The Trojans tallied 119 points in the boys meet while Cumberland had 24.<\/p>\n

Cumberland’s Gavin Whitaker was a winner in the 1600 in 4:56.7 minutes. Another first place finish came in the discus as Mitchell Blade had a throw of 37.55 meters.<\/p>\n

Kade Bradley finished second in the 800 in 2:31.2. Logan Gerhardt took second in the 300 hurdles in 48.8 seconds.<\/p>\n

The 4×100 relay team finished second in 48.1 seconds. Team members were Jacob Pierce, Jacob Duvall, Jaxon Kearns and Josh Shoemaker. The 4×800 relay team finished second in 9:18.5. There were no team members listed.<\/p>\n

Brett Wolke took second in the shot at 12.06 meters. Kelby Bierman finished second in the triple jump at 11.62 meters.<\/p>\n

In the girls meet, Charleston won 104 to 14.<\/p>\n

Cumberland’s Hannah Shoemaker won the 100 hurdles\u00a0 in 19.4 seconds.<\/p>\n

Second place went to Brielle Aaron in the 100 in 13.9 seconds.<\/p>\n

Sadie Colnar took second in the discus at 21.94 meters.<\/p>\n
