Eleven hits later and Effingham St. Anthony ended with a 13-2 baseball victory over Flora in five innings Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The Bulldogs took a 3-0 opening inning lead and ended the contest by scoring nine in the third.<\/p>\n

It was the B&B show as Brock Fearday hit a single, triple, home run and drove in three while Brady Hatton hit a triple, home run and finished with two RBI.<\/p>\n

Will Fearday contributed two singles and an RBI and Xander Beals a single and three RBI.<\/p>\n

Beals went three innings on the mound for the victory. He allowed one run and tossed a two-hitter with three walks and four strikeouts. Dakota Flaig and Maddox Clark threw an inning each and kept the Wolves in check.<\/p>\n

Flora had five players with a single each.<\/p>\n

At Salem<\/strong><\/p>\n

Effingham traveled to Salem and held off the Wildcats for an 8-6 victory Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The Hearts moved into a 6-0 lead in the top of the third inning. Jude Traub drew a walk, scoring one run, Max Seachrist singled, scoring two runs, Max Flack doubled, scoring two runs and Wade Bushur drew a walk, scoring a run.<\/p>\n

The Wildcats came back with a four-run bottom of the third inning to pull within 6-4. But the Hearts added on a single run in the fourth to move into a 7-4 lead. Salem tallied two in the bottom of the frame and pulled within 7-6. The Hearts, once again, tallied a run, this time in the top of the sixth.<\/p>\n

Effingham collected 10 hits in the contest. Colton Webb had two doubles and two RBI, Seachrist two singles and two RBI, Flack a double and two RBI, and Braddy two singles.<\/p>\n

Flack went two innings for the win. He gave up four runs on no hits, four walks while striking out three. Rylan Pals came in and tossed two innings, allowing two runs on one hit, one walk and striking out two. Wade Bushur finished up the final three innings for the save, giving up one hit, one walk and striking out one.<\/p>\n

The Hearts are back in action Wednesday taking on Shelbyville.<\/p>\n

Teutopolis took the opening inning lead with three runs and went on for a 5-1 victory over Breese Mater Dei Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The Wooden Shoes had seven hits. Carter Hoene led the way with a single, double and an RBI. Henry Thompson and Cooper Tegeler added a double and an RBI each.<\/p>\n

Caleb Deters went six innings, allowing one run on five hits, one walk while striking out six. He now sports a 3-0 pitching record. Gavin Addis came in to finish out the final inning. He gave up one hit and struck out three.<\/p>\n

The Wooden Shoes are now 8-1 on the season and aren’t back in action until Saturday when they host St. Joseph beginning at 10 a.m.<\/p>\n

Mater Dei dropped to 1-3 on the season.<\/p>\n

Altamont and Cisne finished with six hits and two errors each. But the Indians tallied more runs for a 7-2 victory Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The Indians opened with two runs in the first. Cisne pulled within 2-1 in the fourth. But Altamont put together a four-run sixth and finished out with a run in the seventh.<\/p>\n

Kade Milleville had the lone extra base hit with a double and an RBI. Keegan Schultz and Dyson Wagner had two singles and two RBI each. Brayden Elam and Parker Bell had an RBI each.<\/p>\n

K. Milleville also was the winning pitcher. He gave up two runs on six hits, one walk and struck out six in six innings. Dyson Wagner came on to finish out the final frame with a strikeout.<\/p>\n

Cisne was led by Kayden Dagg with three singles and Harv Keyser with a single and two RBI.<\/p>\n

Windsor\/Stewardson-Strasburg scored three runs in the sixth to claim a 5-3 victory Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The Hatchets led 1-0 in the second inning but Newton moved into a 2-1 lead in the top of the fourth. Windsor\/Stew-Stras then knotted the score at 2-2 in the bottom of the frame. The Eagles again took the lead with run in the fifth.<\/p>\n

But Windsor\/Stew-Stras came back with that three-run sixth for the win.<\/p>\n

The Hatchets’ Koy Morris was the big hitter on the day with a single, double, home run and one RBI. Jackson Gurgel and Ben Bridges contributed\u00a0a double each. Gurgel had an RBI. Carter Verdeyen added two singles.<\/p>\n

Aiden Sayers went five innings for the pitching victory. He gave up three runs on eight hits, no walks and striking out six.<\/p>\n

Newton was led by Drake Wolf with a single, double and two RBI. Dexter Fulton contributed two singles.<\/p>\n

The Bobcats edged out to a 1-0 opening inning lead then added on three in the second and led 11-1 in the third. CHBC tacked on a single run in the fifth and three more in the sixth to end the game.<\/p>\n

CHBC had nine hits led by Hunter Pope with three singles and an RBI, Conner Nowitze with two singles and two RBI, Kyle Lamb a double and Wyatt Rueff with a single and three RBI.<\/p>\n

Rueff picked up the win on the mound. He went 4 2\/3 innings, giving up two hits while striking out 12.<\/p>\n

At Odin<\/strong><\/p>\n

Colin Blazich put together two singles, a home run and three RBI for the winners. Malik Coy had a single, double and four RBI. Matt Probst added a double and Cayden Hakman, Evan Fearday and Garrett Ballinger had a single and an RBI each.<\/p>\n

The Indians are now 5-1 on the season and back in action Thursday at Casey-Westfield, weather permitting.<\/p>\n

BSE was led by Calin Chandler with a home run and three RBI, Dodge Willms with a double and Nolan Wilhour with two singles. BSE dropped to 3-3 on the season and will be back in action, weather permitting, Thursday at South Central.<\/p>\n
