DIETERICH — Windsor\/Stewardson-Strasburg and Dieterich played to a 0-0 opening inning tie but the Hatchets ended up putting this game to rest over the next four innings by a 13-0 count Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Windsor\/Stew-Strasburg’s Samantha Hayes kept the Maroons off the basepaths. She gave up only two hits, no walks while striking out three.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Hatchets were running the bases with 11 hits. Ellie Wittenburg put together two singles, a double and drove in four runs. S. Hayes added two singles, a triple and an RBI. Kendra<\/p>\n

Hayes finished with a single, triple and two RBI while Mya Friese added a triple and an RBI. Clarissa Johnson finished with no hits but had four RBI. Alexis Gee had a single and an RBI.<\/p>\n

Dieterich’s two hits were singles by Aliza Garner and Kinley Will.<\/p>\n

The Indians finished with nine hits and were aided by five Cumberland errors.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Grace Lemke was holding the Pirates in check on the mound. She went all seven innings, allowing one run on two hits. She did not give up a walk and struck out 19.
\nKennedi Schultz hit a home run and had two RBI while Lemke tagged a home run and had four RBI. Sophia Long finished with two singles and an RBI and Cecilia Pearcy had two singles.<\/p>\n

Cumberland’s two hits, were a triple by Ashton Tolen and a single by Jade Carr.<\/p>\n

The Bobcats finished with 10 hits and were aided by North Clay\/Clay City with seven errors.<\/p>\n

CHBC was led by Birgen Schlanser with three singles and an RBI, Bryleigh Prater with two singles and three RBI, Ryleigh Sarver finished with two singles and an RBI and Addison Wasson added a double. Jordyn Wright finished with an RBI.<\/p>\n

Wasson went the distance on the mound. She gave up five runs on four hits, four walks and struck out 12 in the win.<\/p>\n

North Clay\/Clay City’s hits were singles by A. Romack and Ava Fleener with a single and an RBI each. Lauryn Snell added two RBI. The Cardinals fell to 0-4 on the season.<\/p>\n

Karly Deckard went the distance pitching. She gave up one hit, no walks while striking out six.<\/p>\n

St. Elmo\/Brownstown made a comeback bid with four runs in the fifth, seven in the sixth and one in the seventh but couldn’t get ahead.<\/p>\n

Both teams had 12 hits. Dayana Haslett led the way with four singles and an RBI for SEB. Macey Sapp finished with two singles, a double and an RBI. Addison Koonce added a double and an RBI, Alivia Claycomb two singles and an RBI and Alexis Holliday a single and two RBI.<\/p>\n

Mount Zion took a 2-1 opening inning lead and went on to win 15-5 over Teutopolis in a game that went five innings due to the 10-run rule Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The Braves had five hits led by Molly Doolin with a double and two RBI, Avelyn Ethell with a double, Ella Fink with two singles and an RBI and Ellie Green with a single and two RBI.<\/p>\n

Wooden Shoe pitchers gave up 17 walks and T-town finished with six errors.<\/p>\n

Teutopolis had four hits, all singles by Chloe Hoene, Olivia Wermert, Mallory Bloemer and Kera Hartke. Wermert had two RBI and Malea Helmink finished with one RBI.<\/p>\n
