STRASBURG — Casey-Westfield won both the boys and girls track meets at Stewardson-Strasburg High School Thursday.<\/p>\n

In the boys meet, Casey-Westfield tallied 136 points followed by Flora 126, North Clay 32, Brownstown\/St. Elmo 28 and Stewardson-Strasburg 12.<\/p>\n

Brownstown\/St. Elmo’s Trenten Monnet was a double event winner. He claimed the shot with a heave of 46 feet, 4 inches and won the discus with a throw of 167 feet.<\/p>\n

North Clay’s Zane Groves won the 800 with a time of 2:21.3.<\/p>\n

In the girls meet, Casey-Westfield was the team champion with 122.5 points followed by Brownstown\/St. Elmo 79, North Clay 56 and Stewardson-Strasburg 36.5<\/p>\n

Brownstown\/St. Elmo’s Presley Williams claimed the 100 with a time of 13.3 seconds and the 200 in 28.3. Katie Berner won the 100 hurdles in 17.4 seconds. Addie Sasse was also an individual winner, taking the long jump at 14 feet, 1 1\/2 inches.<\/p>\n

The Bombers claimed the 4×200 relay with a time of 1:59.7 minutes. Team members were Cordelia Lytle, Leslie Felmlee, Sasse and Presley Williams.<\/p>\n

North Clay’s Karsyn Gaddy won the shot with a heave of 30 feet, 1 inch. She also claimed the discus with a throw of 88 feet, 4 inches. Teammate Sylvia Robey was a winner in the high jump at 4 feet, 6 inches.<\/p>\n
