HSHS St. Anthony\u2019s Memorial Hospital has been dedicated to providing compassionate health care and serving the community since its founding by three Hospital Sisters of St. Francis in Effingham on November 15, 1875. Today this commitment continues 150 years later through the dedicated efforts of hospital colleagues and medical staff.<\/p>\n

Throughout this year, St. Anthony\u2019s is marking certain milestones to celebrate caring for their community for 150 years. On Thursday, March 20, the hospital\u2019s Women and Infants Center proudly welcomed the 150th\u00a0baby born at the hospital in 2025.\u00a0Lucy Ann Feldhake\u00a0was born to Kallee and Nick Feldhake of Dieterich, Illinois weighing 6 pounds, 2 ounces and was 20 inches long.<\/p>\n

HSHS St. Anthony\u2019s Women and Infants Center staff presented the Feldhakes with a basket of gifts in celebration of\u00a0Lucy being St. Anthony\u2019s 150th\u00a0baby in the hospital\u2019s 150th\u00a0Anniversary year. One of the gifts included a special 150th\u00a0onesie that is given to all babies born at St. Anthony\u2019s in 2025.<\/p>\n
