As Corporate Controller, he oversees the Bank&#8217;s accounting operations and helps ensure the accuracy and integrity of Midland&#8217;s financial reporting. Shelton has extensive experience leading accounting organizations within publicly traded financial institutions. He earned a bachelor&#8217;s degree in accounting from the University of Missouri\u2013St. Louis and<br \/>\npassed the Uniform CPA Examination.<br \/>\nFlach joins Midland as Director of Financial Reporting. Most recently, she served as an Assurance Manager with CBIZ, where she led audit engagements, advised clients on financial reporting matters and supported process improvement initiatives. At Midland, she oversees internal and external financial reporting and supports the Bank&#8217;s regulatory and public company reporting activities.<br \/>\nFlach earned a Master of Professional Accountancy and a bachelor&#8217;s degree in accounting from Butler University.
