Cameron finished in 15:04.7 while Colby crossed the line in 15:38.4.<\/p>\n<p>Also scoring for the Pirates were Gavin Whitaker sixth in 16:38.4, Damien Chardon seventh in 16:46.1 and Kyler Houchin 19th in 17:34.8. Others competing for the Pirates were Clayton Altgilbers 22nd in 17:48.2 and Maverick Duvall 23rd in 17:54.7.<\/p>\n<p>Cumberland advanced as a team to its own sectional which is scheduled at Lake Land College Saturday, October 31. The boys will compete at 11 a.m. Also advancing as teams were Dieterich, Teutopolis, Fairfield, Robinson, Marshall and Oblong.<\/p>\n<p>Competing for Teutopolis were Archer Kitten 29th in 18:16.5, John Pruemer 38th in 19:04.3, Jackson Meyer 47th in 19:33.2, Leo Zerrusen 49th in 19:58.3, Kyle Bierman 51st in 20:08.1, Jackson Krampe 52nd in 20:09.8 and Alexander Ghast 61st in 2:05.4.<\/p>\n<p>Competing for Dieterich were Sylus Niland 12th in 17:12.8, Cody Landers 32nd in 18:42.3, Cole Tegeler 39th in 19:07.2, Rylan McQueen 48th in 19:57.9 and Gabe Crutcher 58th in 20:34.5.<\/p>\n<p>Altamont&#8217;s Kelton Dunaway claimed ninth place with a time of 16:53.4. Newton&#8217;s Holden Barthelmy finished 13th in 17:14.9. Both those runners advance as individuals to the Cumberland Sectional.<\/p>\n<p>Other area runners were Daniel Welty (North Clay), 30th in 18:29.9, Levi Salyers (Newton), 35th in 18:58.7. Jeremiah Hills (Newton) 40th in 19:08.4, John Manley (Altamont) 42nd in 19:12.6, Bryson Frost (North Clay), 56th in 20:30.9 and Cameron Hickey (North Clay), 69th in 22:39.2.<\/p>\n<p>In the Cumberland Girls Cross Country Regional, Marshall was the team champion with 49 points followed by Neoga 74, Robinson 85, Newton 88, Teutopolis 121, Fairfield 122, Dieterich 161 and Mount Carmel 176.<\/p>\n<p>Neoga, Newton, Teutopolis and Dieterich were the area teams advancing to sectional action.<\/p>\n<p>Competing for Neoga were Jemma Lawyer 12th in 20:38.7, Lily Browning 14th in 20:39.8, Paige Wolke 19th in 21:09.3, Jude Miller 21st in 21:22.6, Lila Light 23rd in 21:26.9, Livi Shuemaker 31st in 22:51.0 and Raegan Jones 57th in 26:42.6.<\/p>\n<p>Competing for Newton were Avery Geier 8th in 19:51.0, Heather Bergbower 15th in 21:00.3, Chloe Holsapple 18th in 21:07.5, Nora Street 30th in 22:43.9, Josie Vogt 33rd in 23:01.1, Kimberly Bierman 36th in 23:06.2 and Kate Bierman 40th in 23:46.6.<\/p>\n<p>Competing for Teutopolis were Macy Peterson ninth in 20:01.1, Kenzi Dust 17th in 21:03.9, Abigail Zane 26th in 21:50.8, Mary Jane Dennis 38th in 23:15.6, Elaina Gaffin 49th in 25:22.5 and Pearl Huber 51st in 25:37.2.<\/p>\n<p>Competing for Dieterich were Lena Goebel sixth in 19:34.5, Violet Iffert 39th in 23:28.1, Halo Homann 41st in 24:16.8, Allie Wright 44th in 24:33.6, Ava Niemerg 53rd in 25:53.8, Avery Bohnhoff 55th in 26:22.9 and Coraline Homann 56th in 26:26.1.<\/p>\n<p>Competing for Altamont was Reagan Winter third in 18:54.4.<\/p>\n<p>Competing for North Clay was Eliza Sparks 60th in 28:40.8.<\/p>\n<p>Advancing girls will head to the Cumberland Sectional at Lake Land College Saturday, October 31 with the girls competing at 10 a.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TOLEDO &#8212; Cumberland High School won its own Class 1A Boys Cross Country Regional Saturday.
