The work will be done over the Columbus Day holiday so as not to disrupt the school calendar.<\/p>\n<p>The school board employed Kendyl Schultz as a high school volunteer assistant dance coach and employed Brad Knott as a high school volunteer assistant soccer coach for the 2026 season.<\/p>\n<p>Board members also named member Dale Laue as the district&#8217;s delegate for the state school board convention, approved the annual joint agreement with OKAW Vocational Center, and approved a special education coop agreement with Eastern Illinois Area Special Education.<\/p>\n<p>The Altamont board also recognized the Altamont Trap team and its coaches.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Altamont school board members Monday approved a revised agreement with the City of Altamont.
