The addition of a dedicated Executive Director represents the next step in the Foundation&#8217;s growth and long-term sustainability.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As Executive Director, Conlin will lead the Foundation&#8217;s strategic initiatives, cultivate partnerships, oversee fundraising efforts, support the continued growth of CORE Academy, and advance ERCF&#8217;s mission of connecting education with workforce needs across the region.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>&#8220;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Being named CORE Academy&#8217;s first Executive Director is both an honor and an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of the organization\u201d, Conlin said. \u201cCareer and technical education has always been at the heart of my work, and I am excited to help lead CORE Academy into its next chapter. I look forward to working alongside our dedicated educators, business partners, and community to create innovative pathways that inspire students, prepare them for successful futures, and support the workforce needs of our region. I am grateful for this role and look forward to the continued growth and impact of CORE Academy and the students we serve.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ERCF Board Chairman <\/span>Joe Schumacher<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> said the appointment reflects the Foundation&#8217;s vision for the future.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2018Courtney understands this region and the employers in it, and she has spent years doing exactly the work CORE Academy exists to do \u2014 connecting students to real career pathways.\u00a0 She brings both the educational grounding and the entrepreneurial drive this role needs. Our board is confident she is the right person to lead CORE Academy into its next phase.\u201d\u00a0 Schumacher serves as Vice President of Operations for Stevens Industries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Effingham Regional Career Foundation was established to create sustainable pathways to employment by bringing together education, business, and community leaders to address regional workforce needs.
