The burial will be in the Mound Cemetery northeast of Willow Hill, Illinois. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 AM, until service time. In loving memory of Becky, memorials may be made to the Scott Avenue Christian Church building fund or Claws-n-Paws. The obituary can be viewed and condolences left at www.meyerfh.com.<\/p>\n<p>Becky was born on February 2, 1944, in Martinsville, Illinois, the daughter of Victor and Catherine (Young) Roberts. She graduated from Newton Community High School with the Class of 1962.<\/p>\n<p>Becky was united in marriage to James C. \u201cJimmy Joe\u201d Price on September 21, 1963, and he preceded her in death on November 11, 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Becky started working at an early age at her family\u2019s business, the V&amp;C Grocery Store in Willow Hill. Later she worked at Newton Broom Factory and Newton Package Strore. And for 19 years, Becky was one of the friendly cashiers at the Newton IGA and she retired at the age of 80 \u00bd years old.<\/p>\n<p>Becky is survived by:<\/p>\n<p>Daughters \u2013 Misty (Bob) Kurtz of Newton, Illinois and Heidi (Dan) Fitts of Oblong, Illinois<\/p>\n<p>Grandchildren \u2013 Aaron (Kara) Kurtz, Kashtyn (Tyler) Shull, Kaley (Kenny) Price and Brock Fitts<\/p>\n<p>Great Grandchildren \u2013 Noah Kurtz, Oliver Shull, Micah Kurtz, Case Shull and Bruce Price<\/p>\n<p>Sisters \u2013 Kathy Collins and Debbie Higginbotham<\/p>\n<p>Special Friends \u2013 Janet Henderson, Deb Millman and Pat Hankins<\/p>\n<p>Beloved Dog \u2013 Tucker<\/p>\n<p>Becky was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings Wanda Sue Green, Betty McKee and Jerold Roberts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Becky died on Thursday, July 16.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":7,"featured_media":42689,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_lmt_disableupdate":"no","_lmt_disable":"","footnotes":"","_members_access_role":[],"_members_access_error":""},"categories":[21],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-42688","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-obits"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.0 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Rebecca Jane &quot;Becky&quot;
