The 52nd Annual Day of Prayer for Life will be held Wednesday, June 17th, at St Francis Church, 203 E Main St., Teutopolis.\u00a0 St. Francis Church and Effingham Area Right to Life invite all to come and pray for renewed respect for all human life, and in reparation for our nation allowing 65 million preborn human lives to be ended by abortion since 1973.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Day of Prayer will begin with Eucharistic Exposition and Adoration at 8 AM.\u00a0 All are welcome.\u00a0 Benediction will be held at 7:00 PM with the closing Mass at 7:30 PM.\u00a0 Our honored celebrant for the closing Mass will be Father Seth Brown, pastor of Mother of Dolors Church, Vandalia.\u00a0 A reception with refreshments will follow in St Clare Hall, adjoining the church.<\/span><\/p>\n

  • 8-9:00 AM \u2013 Eucharistic Exposition and Adoration; St. Francis, Teutopolis; St. Rose, Montrose<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 9:00 AM — Eucharist reposed for Mass<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 9:15 AM \u2013 Mass with Totus Tuus Children; ALL adults are invited<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 10-11:00 AM – Eucharistic Exposition and Adoration resumes; St. Anthony, Effingham; CDA #720 of Effingham<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 11 AM-noon – Sacred Heart, Effingham<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Noon-1:00 PM – Silent hour – all volunteers; all faiths welcome;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 1:00-2:00 PM – St. Clare, Altamont; St. Ann Edgewood; St. Mary, St. Elmo; St. Thomas, Newton; St. Mary\u2019s, St. Marie; Secular Franciscans<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 2:00-3:00 PM – St. Michael, Sigel; St. Mary’s, Neoga; Sacred Heart, Lillyville<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 3:00-4:00 PM \u2013St. Mary\u2019s, Shumway; St. Mary\u2019s, Green Creek<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 4:00-5:00 PM – St. Isidore, Dieterich; all area youth<\/span><\/li>\n
