{"id":40432,"date":"2026-06-15T14:37:27","date_gmt":"2026-06-15T19:37:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thexradio.com\/news\/?p=40432"},"modified":"2026-06-15T14:37:27","modified_gmt":"2026-06-15T19:37:27","slug":"housing-listening-session-in-effingham","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thexradio.com\/news\/local-news\/40432-housing-listening-session-in-effingham\/","title":{"rendered":"Housing Listening Session in Effingham"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"pdfprnt-buttons pdfprnt-buttons-post pdfprnt-top-right\"><a href=\"javascript: window.print()\" class=\"pdfprnt-button pdfprnt-button-print\" target=\"_self\" ><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thexradio.com\/news\/wp-content\/plugins\/pdf-print\/images\/print.png\" alt=\"image_print\" title=\"Print Content\" \/><span class=\"pdfprnt-button-title pdfprnt-button-print-title\">Print<\/span><\/a><\/div><p>Local community members, residents, and leaders are invited to Koerner Distributor as the Effingham Regional Growth Alliance partners with the Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA) for a housing listening session.\u00a0 The Illinois Housing Blueprint Session will be from 11:00am &#8211; 1:00pm on Thursday, June 18th.<\/p>\n<p>The goal of the Blueprint Listening Session is to hear from practitioners, advocates, and community members about the strengths, challenges, and needs of their community in regards to housing and community development.\u00a0 Launched in 2020, the Blueprint is a statewide initiative conducted every three to five years to assess current housing conditions, create a vision for equitable and affordable housing in Illinois, and a pathway to make that vision possible.
