Critical access pharmacies serving rural or medically underserved areas<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; Small independent pharmacies with fewer than 10 locations<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; Pharmacies in rural counties with fewer than 50,000 residents<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; Pharmacies in larger counties located in federally designated Medically Underserved Areas or Populations<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; Pharmacies serving predominantly Medicaid patients, with at least 65% of claims from Medicaid and most services delivered in Illinois<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; Pharmacies in high poverty, low access census tracts, where residents live significant distances from pharmacy services<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cOnce again, the State of Illinois is stepping up with another program to benefit Illinois families,\u201d said Leader Dave Koehler (D-Peoria).\u00a0 \u201cWith representation in nearly every county throughout Illinois, the Pharmacy Support Program will boost health care access by helping more than 430 pharmacies across Illinois.\u201d<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cEvery Illinoisan should have access to quality health care in their community, and Illinois&#8217; Pharmacy Support Program is bolstering access to this essential service,\u201d said Leader Bob Morgan (D-Highwood).\u00a0 \u201cI&#8217;m thrilled to see the $25 million in State funding being distributed to pharmacies throughout Illinois.\u201d<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Friday&#8217;s announcement builds on Governor Pritzker\u2019s broader efforts to improve affordability and expand access to health care for Illinois families.\u00a0 Earlier this year, Gov.
