Services celebrating Fonda\u2019s life will be held at 4:00 PM with her nephew Rick Britton officiating. In loving memory of Fonda, memorials may be made to the Jasper County Cancer Support Group, PO Box 333, Newton, Illinois 62448. The obituary can be viewed and condolences left at www.meyerfh.com.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Fonda was born on January 2, 1949, in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of Loren Ray and Clara Ellen (Rentz) Fear. She married Raymond Edward Fear on June 24, 1967, at Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Newton, Illinois. He preceded her in death on November 18, 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Fonda was a cook at Saint Thomas School in Newton for over 25 years. She was a member of Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Newton, Illinois.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Fonda was known for being an excellent cook. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Fonda is survived by:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Children \u2013 John Fear (Megan Ames) of Effingham, Illinois; Cameron (Senna Adjabeng) Fear of Urbana, Illinois; Justin Fear of Oblong, Illinois; Andy Fear of Newton, Illinois; Corey Fear (Heather Demma) of Pine Haven, Wyoming and Amy Fear of Newton, Illinois<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Grandchildren \u2013 Madison Fear, Savannah Fear, Logan Fear, Traeh Badger, Aaliyah Fear, Waylon Fear and Claire Fear<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Brother \u2013 Thomas (Brenda) Fear of Newton, Illinois<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In-laws \u2013 Richard \u201cDick\u201d (Thelma) Fear of Robinson, Illinois; Connie (Robert) Keller of Newton, Illinois and Elmer Harness of Robinson, Illinois<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Fonda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Loren Fear, Jr and Phillip Fear, sister Carolyn Bachelor, in-laws Florence (Richard) Britton, Beverly Harness, Marcella (Herman) Whalen and Boneva \u201cBonnie\u201d Fear.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fonda died on Monday, June 1.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":40178,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_lmt_disableupdate":"no","_lmt_disable":"","footnotes":"","_members_access_role":[],"_members_access_error":""},"categories":[21],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-39692","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-obits"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.4 -
