He had previously worked with Jensen Home Furnishings before Wright\u2019s acquired the company, making him an important part of the transition.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cTim was instrumental in the transition from Jensen\u2019s to Wright\u2019s in 2019,\u201d Wright\u2019s Furniture &amp; Flooring President John Wright said. \u201cHe was a great asset to us during his time with Wright\u2019s. We wish him the best in his retirement.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A life-long member of the community, Collins graduated from Taylorville High School in 1979. He began his career at My Store in Taylorville, then spent much of his career at Jensen Home Furnishings and Summer\u2019s Menswear before his time with Wright\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cTim was with Jensen\u2019s for many years and we always enjoyed his participation,\u201d former owner of Jensen Home Furnishings Jerry Jensen said. \u201cHe was always pleasant to work with.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Collins gave thanks to his coworkers, friends and community members who made his career long and fulfilling.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cMore than anything, this journey has been about the wonderful relationships and memories shared with so many incredible people,\u201d Collins said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wright\u2019s Furniture &amp; Flooring is a fifth-generation family-owned business that is celebrating its 137th anniversary this year. Wright\u2019s Furniture &amp; Flooring features a large selection of quality living room, bedroom, dining room, home office, home accents, entertainment, commercial and custom furniture as well as a wide selection of flooring.
