T-town held a 3-1 lead in the third inning but Edwardsville came back with a six-run fifth and finished out with a run in the sixth.<\/p>\n<p>T-town had only six hits compared to 13 for the Tigers.<\/p>\n<p>The Shoes were led by Jason Kreke with a triple and Austin Borries with a single, double and two RBI. Aidan Niemerg added a single and an RBI.<\/p>\n<p>In Saturday&#8217;s first game, Teutopolis edged Chatham Glenwood, 6-5.<\/p>\n<p>The Shoes held a 2-1 opening inning lead. Glenwood came back with three runs in the fifth to move ahead 4-2 and pushed that to 5-2 in the top of the seventh.<\/p>\n<p>But T-town rallied, scoring four runs in the bottom of the seventh to pull out the victory.<\/p>\n<p>Kreke hit a home run and finished with three RBI. Borries added a double and two RBI and Teagan Pals had an RBI.<\/p>\n<p>In the second Saturday contest, T-town fell to Highland, 6-3.<\/p>\n<p>The Shoes led 1-0 in the first. Highland tied in the second then moved into a 4-1 lead in the fourth and tacked on two more runs in the fifth.
